At Woman’s Touch Healthcare we offer multiple options for contraceptive management. Our providers will meet with our patients and discuss with each one what their plans and expectations are for contraceptive management. After a detailed discussion with the patient our provider will recommend what the best management would be for each situation. We offer the following forms of contraceptive management:
- Prescription birth control pill management
- Intrauterine device such as Kyleena, Mirena, Skyla, or Liletta
- Tubal Ligation
Dr. Acuña performs a large variety of surgical procedures to help treat gynecological issues that women may present with for evaluation. Dr. Acuña offers both minimally invasive surgery, as well as laparoscopic robotic surgery when merited. The followings is a non-inclusive list of some of the surgeries that she performs.
Women that are struggling with issues associated with menopause meet with the provider, and together they come up with a plan to help treat those symptoms each patient is experiencing. These solutions may include medication, surgical procedures, or a plan of closely following the patient to keep them as comfortable as possible.

We offer a variety of vaccinations to our patients when needed. We also offer yearly flu vaccinations during the flu season (approximately October to April).
Dr. Acuña and her staff are dedicated to providing the most current and updated information for our patients. Dr. Acuña and Katy spend a considerable amount of time education each patient at their individual visits.
We have a dedicated obstetrics nurse who facilitates pregnancy education for our expectant mothers. During your obstetric care at Woman’s Touch Healthcare you will be scheduled with our OB nurse. She will provide you with expectations for your care over the course of your pregnancy, as well as be available to answer any questions you may have.
Any patient requiring a surgical procedure will be given educational information at an appointment prior to the scheduled surgery. The patient will have an opportunity to ask any questions at that time.
Dr Acuña refers patients to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology for current literature and other information they may desire regarding their women’s health care.
